A romantic wedding surrounded by a majestic castle, is there anything more beautiful? This was the special day of Alessia and Nicola, whom celebrated a summer wedding at Papadopoli Giol Castle.

Every single moment during the day, from the preparations, to the party that lasted up into the night, has been captured in emotional, funny and tender pictures.
This magnificent wedding will certainly be remembered by the bride and groom and by their families forever, with a wonderful photoshoot album to recall every unforgettable moment.

Papadopoli Giol Castle, an open-air wedding full of romanticism

A wedding photoshoot often begins even before the couple’s “I do”, during those hours that precede the wedding celebration.
Alessia and Nicola let themselves be guided during the shooting of that day, letting the atmosphere be authentic and simple.

Alessia was photographed during her own preparation, when she put on her beautiful wedding dress. Choosing the bride’s dress is certainly one of the most important steps of the wedding; the bride opted for a simple A-line dress with an embroidered bodice with small ivory paillettes and a delicate shawl for the ceremony at the church. The bouquet had fresh green and white tones, and it complemented perfectly the dress’s mood.

The groom chose a three-piece charcoal grey suit instead, with a tie and a white flower in his boutonniere, mirroring the bride.

The ceremony was held at the Biancade Church in Treviso, a building from the 5th century, with family, friends and Alessia and Nicola’s two children. The couple could hardly contain a smile when the bride arrived at the end of the aisle. She was accompanied by her father.
The ceremony was deeply felt by all the guests and ended with the bride and groom’s exit from the church, where they both had to “unwrap” their car to get to the party’s location!

The party continued at the Papadopoli Giol Castle, an imposing building with a peculiar architectural style, hard to find in Italy: the English Neogothic. It was built by a Count’s family, and now it’s a beloved Villa, especially appreciated for weddings and other important events. This wedding castle is surrounded by an historical park and a romantic lake. The park has been created in a “chaotic” style, which has a fascinating structure, perfect to function as a background for wedding pictures.

The bride and groom took advantage of the beautiful surroundings to get some lovely and intimate pictures, like the one by the lake, or the evening pictures: after the sun had set, the fairy lights at the location made the two lovebirds shine.

The party was very much appreciated by all the guests, and they contributed to create an authentic and exciting atmosphere.

I like to define myself as a photographer of emotions, rather than a wedding photographer. Photography, to an extent, can dig out our soul and lay bare our feelings. I love details because they are the key to the story of a wedding reportage. Forever passionate about photography, I’ve found my own vision in the shooting, which, discreetly, allow me to capture the authenticity that is hardly enhanced by other techniques.

I love discretion because we all feel vulnerable in front of the lens.

I love telling emotions because they are the only truth we know.
