In the heart of the most wonderful time of the year Giulia and Mattia finally fulfilled their dream: a fairy tale winter wedding, during which they celebrated their love in the marvelous Villa Revedin in Gorgo al Monticano.

Many people think that a winter wedding is out of fashion, but that’s not the case! More and more couples decide to get married during the cold months of the year, maybe because of the Christmas atmosphere, magical and romantic, or the quietness and silence that only snow can create.

Giulia and Mattia decided to get married right after Christmas, taking advantage of the festivities and the dreamy atmosphere of this beautiful period of the year.

Religious wedding with party reception in a villa

The couple chose the small yet elegant Roncade Church in Treviso: this neoclassical building with its simple and majestic façade welcomed the couple and their guests among baroque stuccos and elegant paintings. The couple chose a Christmas themed wedding, with flower arrangements that recalled this season’s colors, such as red, white and green.

The same colors were in the bride’s bouquet, a triumph of red roses surrounded by white. Its romantic dress with a laced bodice was completed by a delicate veil and a small fur for the outdoors.
The groom was especially elegant with its three-piece suit with a grey waistcoat and cravat. With great trepidation he admired the bride’s arrival at the church.
The young newlyweds celebrated a heartfelt ceremony, very participated by the guests, creating special moments that will always remain in their memories.

The reception venue was the beautiful Villa Revedin, a historical villa in the heart of the Venetian country. The majestic architecture of the villa dates back to the 1500s, when it was built by the noble Foscarini family, and then bought by the Revedin Counts.
Its noble history allowed it to maintain its ancient charm, and it transformed it into the ideal wedding venue for parties and receptions. Nowadays Villa Revedin is a classic choice for your wedding, refined and lavish.

The villa was decorated in Christmas style, and it welcomed friends and family of the couple for the wedding day’s celebrations. The real magic happened during the night: the outside of the villa shined with hundreds of Christmas lights, and created the perfect atmosphere for a unique wedding photoshoot. The newlyweds took pictures in the Italian garden, surrounded by a well-trimmed greenery and majestic beech trees, lindens and zelkovas.

Many moments were captured in the photoshoot, some tender and sweet, other funny and exciting. There were games, entertainment and much more with friends and family. Each moment was captured to be remembered by the newlywed couple.

I like to define myself as a photographer of emotions, rather than a wedding photographer. Photography, to an extent, can dig out our soul and lay bare our feelings. I love details because they are the key to the story of a wedding reportage. Forever passionate about photography, I’ve found my own vision in the shooting, which, discreetly, allow me to capture the authenticity that is hardly enhanced by other techniques.

I love discretion because we all feel vulnerable in front of the lens.

I love telling emotions because they are the only truth we know.
