Villa Madama: The Structure of the Venue

The princely Villa Madama is nestled amid the gentle fields of Salento, just a few kilometres from the city of Lecce. With its fairytale and elegant appearance, the structure stands out with its candid walls made of Salento stone. Resembling a romantic castle, the property boasts suggestive crenellated walls and two medieval-style towers.

Upon entering its fairytale gate, visitors are immediately welcomed by a lush park. Within its 6 hectares, this area hosts palm trees, succulent plants, and gazebos, forming a genuine botanical garden. Here, you can also admire the splendid lake populated by numerous swans and water lilies. Strolling beneath the tree branches, you reach various equipped areas where summer weddings are organized. The park elegantly transitions into the mansion's courtyard, where tables and tents for banquets can be set up.

Among the various outdoor locations, the beautiful Botticelli Hall stands out—an extensive paved space sheltered by tree branches. Preceded by a small stone arch connecting it to the main building, this area is illuminated by numerous white chandeliers, creating an extremely warm and welcoming atmosphere. A short distance from this is the Giotto Hall, another space dedicated to outdoor ceremonies, located beneath a romantic white lacquered wooden canopy. With a more modest size, it can accommodate about 60 people.

The indoor halls of Villa Madama are also available to couples for organizing their reception. In this case, you can choose between two elegant environments, each more refined than the other. The first is the Raphael Hall, the largest hall in the structure. Capable of comfortably accommodating up to 300 people, it is designed in a perfect neoclassical style. Between courses, you can admire numerous marble statues and columns present here.

The second is the Michelangelo Hall, suitable for groups of about 150 guests. More rustic and informal, it is characterized by a warm terracotta floor and large windows opening onto the mansion's park. Finally, Villa Madama offers couples and their loved ones various private rooms for overnight stays.
