As we have already mentioned, the exclusive agriturismo Casale San Giovanni is an old farmhouse surrounded by Salento's olive trees. The structure still retains all the architectural beauty typical of 19th-century farmhouses, albeit revisiting it in a modern key. Entering through its private road surrounded by the Salento countryside, visitors are immediately struck by its characteristic colourful façades. The complex is in fact spread over several buildings of modest height, each of a different colour.

What is most intriguing, however, is the stark contrast between the historicity of its walls and the modernity of the garden. This is built in typical 19th-century architectural style, with white stone walls and high lime vaults. A beautiful fireplace stands in the centre of the hall, a reminder of the complex's agricultural origins. On the other hand, the furnishings are more recent, but still elegant.
